There are many websites out there where you can learn about the discrimination facing LGBT people and how to get involved. Here are a few of our favorites.- Join the Impact and Join the Impact MA - direct action groups founded in the wake of Prop 8.
- GLAD - GLAD rocks. They just filed a legal challenge to the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). On their website, they have lots of information about how issues mentioned in this tool kit are affected actual LGBT people.
- Marriage Equality USA - This group also has a lot of information on their website and has done tax day rallies in the past too.
- National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - a group fighting for equality and justice on the local, state, and national level.
